Is CBD oil safe for my dog?
CBD oil is safe for your dog. THC in high doses is not safe for your dog. THC is the psychoactive ingredient found in cannabis. Pet CBD does not contain more than 0.3% THC. Although there are no risks of addiction and few side effects, it is always best to confer with a veterinarian especially if your dog is on prescription drugs.

CBD oil for dogs provides relief from nausea, anxiety, and pain. If your dog doesn’t have an appetite, has separation anxiety, or is recovering from surgery, consider using CBD oil to make him feel more comfortable.
How much CBD oil should I give my dog?
It is recommended to start with 1-5 mg per 10 lbs of your dog’s body weight. This may be administered 2-3 times per day. The dosage may require trial and error. After 30-60 minutes, there should be a difference in your dog’s behaviour. If not, increase the amount given.

Is isolate, broad-spectrum, or full-spectrum CBD best?
All these options are non-psychoactive and contain less than 0.3% THC.
Full-spectrum CBD has the greatest number of cannabinoids and terpenes making it the strongest contender of the three. However, it does have the strongest, grassy taste that some pets may be averse to.
Broad spectrum CBD is less potent but has less of that grassy taste.
Isolate has 0% plant matter and 0% THC. This makes it completely flavourless.
